Iron Workers Local 172 was chartered on June 7, 1915 in Columbus, Ohio’s Capital City. Since its founding, members of Iron Workers Local 172 have erected the signature structures of the city’s skyline. They have built the iconic centers of commerce, competition and entertainment – including historic Ohio Stadium and St. John Arena. They have constructed the infrastructure that made Columbus one of the America’s most populous and attractive metropolitan centers.
