Founded in 2023, Etium Capital is a New York–based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market buy-and-build opportunities within resilient, service-based industries. In September 2023, Etium launched Velocity Automotive, which is now a 23+ unit Meineke platform and top-three franchisee in the system, recognized by Driven Brands as 2024 Multi-Unit Operator of the Year. By investing in strong management teams, best-in-class technology, and proven operational processes, Velocity Automotive has achieved consistent double-digit organic growth across its portfolio. Now in 2025, with a newly committed pool of capital, Etium is pursuing additional majority-control acquisitions. Target sectors include towing, automotive, residential & commercial services, health & wellness and food & beverage. The name Etium is a derivation of the suffix of the Latin word for “of the thing growing,” symbolizing the firm’s focus on continual growth.
