As the Facility Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the daily operation, maintenance, and strategic growth of our facility. Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations & Maintenance

  • Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs and facility life-cycle management plans.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and maintain accurate documentation of findings and corrective actions.
  • Monitor building conditions and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and operational improvements.
  • Respond promptly to facility alarms, equipment malfunctions, and operational concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee facility support services, including security, custodial operations, waste management, parking, reception, catering coordination, and related services.
  • Partner with kitchen and event staff to support facility operations and enhance guest experiences.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide direct supervision and support to frontline staff, including Welcome Desk Associates, Floaters, and Custodial Team Members.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
  • Monitor staffing levels, approve timecards, and ensure adequate coverage to support daily facility operations.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture that promotes accountability, professionalism, and service excellence.
  • Lead by example while encouraging teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, vendors, community organizations, and business partners.
  • Support initiatives designed to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the overall facility experience.
  • Coordinate scheduling and utilization of meeting rooms, classrooms, lounge areas, and event spaces.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing special events, programs, and community activities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact to ensure visitors receive exceptional service and support.

Financial & Strategic Operations

  • Assist with budget development, capital planning, equipment replacement strategies, and facility improvement projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and contract administration.
  • Process bank deposits and support cash handling procedures, including drawer reconciliations and audits.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase operational efficiency and generate additional revenue.
  • Support the effective utilization of facility space, resources, and assets to maximize organizational value.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience in facility operations, recreational services, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Understanding of human resource management principles and practices.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with computer systems and software applications.
