Build Your Next Mission: Become an Electrician with Canton Electrical JATC
You know how to work with precision, follow a system, and get the job done right — that's exactly what it takes to succeed as an electrician. Canton Electrical JATC offers three paths into a skilled trade career, no electrical experience required. You'll earn a paycheck from day one, train under working Journeymen who've been where you are, and walk away with a trade that's always in demand.
⚡ Inside Wireman
Take on commercial and industrial electrical work — installing conduit, wiring, fixtures, and heavy machinery in some of the region's biggest builds. Plan and lead projects, set up temporary power on active job sites, and install fire alarm systems. This is the trade for anyone who wants scale and complexity in their day-to-day.
✔️ Registered apprenticeship — GI Bill benefits may be available
🏠 Residential Wireman
Wire homes and apartment buildings from the ground up — electrical wiring, light fixtures, switches, and receptacles — with room to branch into small commercial work too. A faster path into the trade for those ready to start building right away.
📡 Installer Technician
Work in low-voltage systems: fire alarms, security, camera systems, and the fiber and network infrastructure that keeps buildings connected. If you've worked with communications or systems tech in the service, this track puts that experience to direct use.
✔️ Registered apprenticeship — GI Bill benefits may be available
