Position Summary

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and provides individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from burn injuries and related conditions. The therapist works closely with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize functional outcomes, prevent complications, and support patients throughout the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and positioning programs
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and case management teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and home programs
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Bachelors Degree
