Plumbers Local 8 Kansas City Accepting Apprentice applications
You can join Plumbers Local Union #8 with little or no prior experience. Individuals enter a United Association five-year apprenticeship program and are part of a select group of men and women motivated to learn a complex and challenging trade, while upholding the ideals of trade unionism.

Requirements
The applicant must be 18 years of age prior to the month they apply. Copy of birth certificate is required.
Must be a high school graduate or have passed a high school equivalency test (GED). Copy of diploma or GED certificate with scores and high school transcripts are required. College and technical school transcripts are not accepted.
Each conditionally accepted applicant will be required to take a urinalysis test for drugs. Any applicant who has a positive urinalysis test or refuses to take a test, will not be admitted. The test is provided at no cost to the applicant.
