PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS)

To qualify for the GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing work requests, engineering plans, and other specifications to determine the scope of work for construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Experience estimating the resources required for a project including labor hours, materials, and equipment. Experience preparing detailed job orders and specifications and assigning work to the appropriate shops or trade groups. Experience developing and maintaining a bill of materials for projects, ensuring all necessary parts and supplies are identified. Experience tracking the status of material orders and expedited delivery when necessary. Experience managing inventory of materials and components, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained. Experience investigating and resolving any issues related to material shortages or discrepancies.
