Bricklayers And Allied Craftworkers Local 15 Apprenticeship & Training Fund
Commercial Brick-Block Buildings, Restoration of historic or older buildings, caulking- air and moisture barriers, replacement of any masonry units.
Bricklayers construct walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys and other structures from brick.. They also use other masonry materials, such as concrete, cinder or gypsum block: pre-cast panels made of brick, cement, tile, stone, or marble, or structural tile or terra cotta. Bricklayers also perform work in the industrial sector. On industrial projects we lay brick in kilns, apply gunite and shotcrete, build and maintain industrial stacks and chimneys, and various other scopes of work.
Pointer-Caulker-Cleaner duties include but are not limited to, caulking and sealing of joints in buildings and other structures to seal them watertight; applying cold membrane waterproofing in liquid form or sheet good rolls; epoxy injection with pressure equipment to fractures and cracks in buildings to restore them to structural integrity, Masonry Restoration, patching and sculpting, tuckpointing, repairing masonry units, and power washing to clean and restore buildings.

Requirements
All applicants shall be at least seventeen (17) years of age.
All applicants must provide documentation that establishes both identity and employment authorization as required by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Form I-9
All applicants shall be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program without posing a direct threat to the health and safety to the individual or others
