Carpenter Apprentice
Carpenters build roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, and other structures that keep our nation growing. If you like working with your hands, head, and heart, use the work ethic and dedication you already have to learn new skills and advance to the next chapter of your life!
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!! Our registered apprenticeship program is 4 years in length, you come to school 1 week every 3 months for skills training. In between the weeks of school, you're out on the job, earning great pay and benefits, while learning from the mentors you're working with. Apprentices also take 4 college classes through IvyTech during their apprenticeship, at no cost, earning an Associate's Degree as well as earning Journey level status that is recognized across the United States and Canada. Apprentices with no experience earn 60% of Journey level pay, additional advance credit may be earned for previous relevant experience. By registering on Helmets to Hardhats and checking the military service box on your application, you may be eligible to bypass all entry testing.
