Our apprenticeship program is a workforce feeder for our union trade.  

In the apprenticeship program you will receive on the job and in the classroom training on the vast array of knowledge and skills that make up our trade. The apprenticeship is a 5 year program where an apprentice is placed and working for one of our contractors and coming in to our training facility for classroom and lab training once every 2 weeks. With good grades and good reviews from the contractor the apprentice will advance through the program receiving a yearly level advance raise. After fullfilling the obligations of the apprenticeship program the apprentice will turn out of the program as a journeyworker with a Federal Department of Labor Diploma. A journeyworker is currently making $118,810/yearly (based on 40hr work week, and current contract). Benefits include enrollment in 2 pension plans, an annuity, and Health Insurance.

Applications for our apprenticeship program are taken during the first 2 full weeks of March, annually.

There are also direct entry opportunities for those with correct amount of trade specific experience (handled case by case).
