Laborer
Union laborer for cast-in-place concrete contractor
Supports all phases of cast-in-place concrete construction on commercial and industrial job sites. This position performs physically demanding work in coordination with carpenters, cement masons, ironworkers, equipment operators, and supervision to safely prepare, place, finish, and cure concrete in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and union agreements.
Requirements
- Current membership in the appropriate Laborers’ Union or ability to join
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working at heights
- Ability to work on elevated decks, scaffolding, and ladders
- Perform additional tasks as assigned within the scope of the laborer classification
