Lead the Next Chapter of Emergency Medicine on Florida's Emerald Coast
HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an accomplished Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead the region's only state-designated Level II Trauma Center while helping shape the future of Emergency Medicine education through a growing partnership with UCF College of Medicine.

This is a rare opportunity to influence a high-acuity, multi-site Emergency Medicine program, remain clinically engaged, and help establish the clinical foundation for a new Emergency Medicine residency anticipated to launch in 2028.

• Medical Director opportunity with continued clinical practice
• 44-bed Emergency Department with approximately 55,000 annual visits
• Tri-County area's only Level II Trauma Center
• Affiliated emergency departments in Destin and Navarre
• 309-bed regional referral center
• Academic partnership with UCF College of Medicine
• Emergency Medicine residency anticipated for 2028
• Internal Medicine residency established in 2024
• Transitional Year residency launching in 2026
• Clinical training site for Auburn VCOM medical students
