RN ER ED - Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Work Schedule: 3 days per week, 7a-7p/Rotating Weekends

This frontline leadership role is designed to attract high-caliber ER, ED, urgent care, standalone ER, and freestanding ER (FSED) RNs who are ready to blend exceptional bedside expertise with shift operations, patient throughput coordination, and clinical mentorship. Our comprehensive emergency network operates 24/7, providing full-service adult and pediatric emergency care, on-site laboratory testing, and advanced imaging (including CT scans, X-rays, and ultrasound). Leadership opportunities span our high-acuity main hospital emergency department—a full-service facility holding a designated adult Level III Trauma Center status with 24/7 cardiac catheterization labs—as well as our integrated HCA Houston ER 24/7 freestanding emergency care centers (such as Fairmont, North Channel, and Pearland) and our connected network of urgent care locations. Reflecting our deep commitment to top-tier care, our emergency service line stands as the only facility in Pasadena recognized by the American College of Cardiology as an accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
What you will do in this role:
- Ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
- In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS issued from American Heart Association required
- TNCC within 4 months of hire date
- CPI within 30 days of hire date
- 1 year of clinical ER experience as a licensed RN required.
