In Queens there are more than 312,903 public school students in more than 350 schools. The Director of Education provides liaison between the Office of the Borough President and the boroughs students, parents, teachers and administrators and the Department of Education. The Community Associate position will provide support services to the Director of Education. The education assistant will assist the Director of Education in this work.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements 1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or 2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
