Testing may be performed at the circuit card, assembly, sub-system and/or space vehicle level. Experience handling sensitive hardware, very strong computer skills and the ability to strictly adhere to documented procedures is a must. Prior experience with RF, optical and/or digital technology is a must.Essential Functions:* Transport test equipment, fixtures, and cables to required testing locations.* Setup tests per written documentation and engineering direction.* Verify all test equipment is in calibration.* Verify all licensed test software is not expired.* Assemble custom or COTS equipment/fixtures.* Performs test and records required information.* Document failures and reports any anomalies to key stakeholders.* Executing automated software using LabVIEW and/or TestStand GUIs.* Troubleshooting failed assemblies with engineering oversight.* Operate RF, optical and/or digital test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, OTDRs, OBRs, lasers, SOAs, BERT, DMMs and power supplies.Qualifications:* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.* Active Secret Clearance required.Preferred Additional Skills:* Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.* Experience handling very sensitive and fragile hardware, including mating and de-mating high density connectors, RF and optical connections.* Experience with qualification testing, including vibration, thermal and thermal vacuum testing.* Willing to work overtime as requested.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
