Le coordonnateur agit comme lien central entre les clients internes, les fournisseurs externes et les �quipes techniques. Il traduit les besoins en instructions claires, estime les co�ts et les d�lais, et g�re la logistique du d�but � la fin.Responsabilit�s principales* Interpr�ter les demandes des clients (nouveaux outils, r�visions, r�parations) et d�finir la port�e technique et logistique du travail.* Analyser les dessins techniques et les sp�cifications afin d'estimer les co�ts et les d�lais de fabrication ou de modification.* R�diger des instructions de travail claires et exploitables � l'intention des fournisseurs externes.* S�lectionner les sources de fabrication appropri�es en fonction des exigences techniques, des d�lais et des co�ts.* Coordonner l'exp�dition et le retour des outils entre les fournisseurs et les clients internes.* Suivre l'avancement des travaux dans les syst�mes de gestion (MRP/ERP) et documenter les �tapes cl�s.* Collaborer �troitement avec l'atelier interne pour r�soudre les probl�mes techniques et op�rationnels.* Participer activement aux initiatives du d�partement et contribuer aux efforts d'am�lioration continue.Profil du candidat* Dipl�me d'�tudes techniques sup�rieures (par exemple, g�nie m�canique, fabrication) avec 5 ans d'exp�rience, ou licence avec 2 � 4 ans d'exp�rience pertinente.* Grande capacit� � lire des dessins techniques et compr�hension approfondie des processus de fabrication d'outillage durable.* Aptitude � estimer les co�ts et les d�lais � partir de sp�cifications partielles ou impr�cises.* Exp�rience dans la gestion des fournisseurs et la coordination logistique.* Ma�trise du fran�ais et de l'anglais (� l'oral et � l'�crit).* Autonome, rigoureux sur le plan technique et � l'aise dans des environnements multidisciplinaires.*************************************************************************************************************Job title: Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)12 month renewable contract Location: Longueuil, QC 5 days onsite Postal Code: J4GArea Codes: 514, 450, 438Keywords: #toolingcoordinator #manufacturingengineer #montrealjobs  Role OverviewOversee the end-to-end management of custom tooling orders for the manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of aircraft engines. The coordinator acts as the central link between internal clients, external suppliers, and technical teams-translating needs into clear instructions, estimating costs and lead times, and managing logistics from start to finish.Key Responsibilities* Interpret client requests (new tools, revisions, repairs) and define the technical and logistical scope of work.* Analyze technical drawings and specifications to estimate manufacturing or modification costs and timelines.* Draft clear, actionable work instructions for external suppliers.* Select appropriate manufacturing sources based on technical requirements, deadlines, and cost.* Coordinate the shipment and return of tooling between suppliers and internal clients.* Track work progress in management systems (MRP/ERP) and document key milestones.* Collaborate closely with the in-house shop to resolve technical and operational issues.* Actively participate in departmental initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Candidate Profile* Technical college diploma (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing) with 5 years of experience, or bachelor"s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience.* Strong ability to read technical drawings and deep understanding of durable tooling manufacturing processes.* Skilled at estimating costs and timelines from partial or imprecise specifications.* Experience managing suppliers and coordinating logistics.* Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).* Autonomous, technically rigorous, and comfortable working in multidisciplinary environments.
