Supervisory Management and Program Analyst

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will provide oversight of a diverse program portfolio, manage and mentor a multi-faceted team of dedicated employees, and find ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and the production of quality work products to meet program goals.


  • Manage financial-related projects, human resources projects, and space, facilities, and logistics projects impacting the Division.
  • Review and implement regulations and policies affecting assigned programs; formulate work plans and strategies, developing and implementing internal operating procedures.
  • Practice sound position management when assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities and work performance of employees.
  • Manage major aspects of a variety of diverse asylum operational programs implemented by subordinate organizational units within the Asylum Division.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee the implementation of operational improvements and performance standards to ensure productivity and quality goals and standards are achieved.
  • Implement ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of division operations, programs, and activities.

Requirements

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/21/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/21/2026. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Evaluating administrative functions and preparing study findings, recommendations, and reports; Planning, organizing, and improving resource management programs, services or processes; Assisting in strategic planning, resource management and budgeting to include execution, oversight, reporting, compliance and process improvement recommendations; Managing and providing technical advice on resource management programs and procedures such as staffing and budget.
