The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence is one of 35 local Chapters of The Arc New York, the largest provider of supports and services for people intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York state. In addition to the programs The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence offers in Jefferson and St. Lawrence County, Chapters of The Arc New York collectively support more than 60,000 people with disabilities and their families in every county of the state, and employ more than 30,000 people in our shared mission to provide people with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities the ordinary and extraordinary opportunities of life.

Production Worker - IMPACTO
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance – Authorized to work in the United States.
Summary/Objective - Perform assigned production/assembly tasks as assigned by Impacto Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain quality standards of products produced. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Essential Functions – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Prepare components. Build, package and assemble products as required for shipment. Safely operate all production equipment as assigned.
Use work orders, inventory transfer orders or production schedule to pick inventory items.
Pack orders to be shipped. Fill out necessary paperwork for packed orders.
Review products for quality control. Complete rework if necessary.
Move materials from one location to the next, including raw materials, work in process, and finished products to ensure continuous production.
Report any production problems to Impacto Warehouse Supervisor.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-services.
Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as requested.

Work Environment - This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. Various machines and equipment are used to create a finished product. Noise level can be loud.
